Timbel Limited is a family-run sewer and watermain construction company that has been working with municipalities to bring clean water to communities in the GTA since 1987. Our office team is small but mighty, and we work hard to support our crews in the field.

**Who you are**:

- You are a self-motivated and experienced professional in the Health and Safety field
- You have strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards
- You are a strong communicator who is organized and detail-oriented
- Able to multitask and support multiple crews in the field

**What you’ll do**:
As the health and safety professional, you will hold a variety of responsibilities that support everyday operations of the company. These responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

- Company Health and Safety Management
- Develop, implement and track policies, procedures and practices
- Review and update the company’s health and safety program as necessary
- Liaise with external bodies such as MOL, WSIB etc
- Keep and maintain records and logs of important correspondence
- Track, perform and/or schedule employee training
- Track statistics relating to health and safety, both internally and externally
- Perform all duties as COR/ISO 45001 Internal Auditor
- Perform job and task hazard analysis
- Track equipment maintenance with corrective actions
- Procure and mange SDS sheets and their locations
- Industry Involvement
- Be informed on Ministry of Labour blitzes and upcoming law/regulation changes
- Attend industry meetings and workgroups, as required
- Project and Team Support
- Perform site inspections, including all necessary documentation and tracking
- Perform accident investigations, including all necessary documentation and tracking
- Procure and manage stock of H&S equipment and PPE
- Monitor the Health and Safety Program in the field
- Ensure new hires or subcontractors are orientated accordingly
- Attend meeting with the project team, as required
- Create traffic management plans, as required
- Order, track and follow up with utility locates, as required
- Manage complaints and track corrective actions

Pay: $68,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
