**HOURS**: Full Time/Part-time, permanent. (Some flexibility may be required)

**COMPENSATION**: $18.00 - $22.00/ hour + benefits. (To be negotiated based on skill level/experience)

**THE PERFECT FIT**:
As the Off-Island Parts Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering automotive parts, primarily collision-related parts, to our internal body shops at standalone locations. You will ensure timely and professional deliveries, assist with parts inventory, load and unload deliveries, and maintain the delivery vehicle. In this role, you will need to have strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the physical stamina to handle long shifts and heavy loads. Your reliability, flexibility with scheduling, customer-focused attitude, and effective communication skills will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will be expected to be safety-conscious and proactive in supporting smooth and efficient operations.

**APPLICABLE SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid PEI driver’s license and driver’s abstract will be required.
- At least 5 years of driving experience.
- Ability to operate a vehicle with a trailer.
- Previous delivery driving experience preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy parts (up to 30 lbs).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**JOB TASKS/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Deliver automotive parts, primarily collision-related parts, to internal body shops at standalone locations in New Brunswick (NB), and Nova Scotia (NS).
- Delivery locations include: 3 body shops in Dartmouth, NS, 1 in New Glasgow, NS, 1 in Truro, NS, 1 in Amherst, NS, and 3 in the Moncton, NB area.
- Ensure accurate and timely deliveries while adhering to delivery schedules, which include 10-12 hour shifts.
- Monday, Wednesday, and Friday one week
- Tuesday and Thursday the following week
- Load and unload the delivery vehicle, ensuring parts are safely secured.
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders before departure and upon delivery.
- Maintain delivery logs and reports, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery receipts.
- Conduct daily inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with body shop staff, providing excellent customer service.
- Assist with inventory management and stocking as needed.
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:

- The role involves significant driving, including long distances between PEI, NB, and NS.
- The position requires 10-12 hour shifts, with deliveries scheduled every second day.
- Average of 30 hours per week.
- Additional hours may be required occasionally to fill in for vacations or time off for the other driver.
- The position may require occasional lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Work may be conducted in various weather conditions.
