Bittele Electronics Inc. is an established Turn-Key PCB assembly company specializing in prototype and low-to-mid volume PCB assembly. Our facility in Toronto, Canada incorporates our Head Office, Sales Office, Parts Procurement Team, as well as our new State-of-the-Art PCB Assembly line. In business since 2003, we are securing a strong brand name and reputation in low-to-mid volume Turn-key PCB assembly throughout the EMS industry.
We are looking for some experienced technicians who can work independently and carry out the daily schedule laid out by the production manager for our production team.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Performs SMT and through hole components replacement of circuit boards
- Proficient in hand soldering
- Ability to demonstrate rework skills with de-soldering station and hot air station
- Must be able to read and understand the document and work instruction in English
- Works closely with QC to resolve any quality issues
- Examines quality of workmanship for conformity to customer documentation and industry standards
- Interact with team members and other departments in a professional manner
- Maintains a clean and well-organized work area
- Employee may also be assigned additional tasks or projects as required by management, including assembly
- Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 years electronic assembly and rework experience, particularity with SMT and thru-hole component
- Knowledge and compliance of ESD and IPC standards
- Ability to read and interpret a Bill of Materials and associated drawings
- Experience working with hot air station and hot plate preferred
- Experience working with a microscope preferred
- Knowledge of IPC 7711/7721 (Rework, Modification and Repair of Electronic Assemblies) preferred
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills
