**Job Description**:
Shopify's Dev Degree program is a computer science degree unlike any other. In the Dev Degree program, you’ll get hands-on experience working on a variety of software development teams while studying to earn your computer science degree. Our innovative work-integrated learning model provides the skills and confidence to jump-start your future. Throughout your journey, our technical mentors and support team will guide, evaluate, and provide you with actionable feedback to support your growth.

**What you’ll do as a Dev Degree Intern**:
In your first year, your time is split between working at Shopify and taking courses at a partner university. You’ll spend 20 hours/week at Shopify learning the tools, technologies, and methodologies that will prepare you to join a development team at Shopify. You’ll earn credit for these work hours that contributes to the completion of your degree at your partner university Each university is different, but Dev Degree interns typically take around 3 courses at the university in addition to their work hours at Shopify.

In your second year and beyond, you will join a software development team and get 20 hours/week work experience building products at Shopify. At university, you’ll continue to take necessary courses to earn your computer science degree.
