**Duties and Responsibilities**
**Customer Relationship Management**
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers through regular communication and follow-ups.
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing B2B clients (Wholesalers, Engineers, Electricians, Automation/HVAC & Mechanical Contractors).
- Provide prompt, professional service to resolve inquiries and ensure satisfaction.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or services.
- Answer incoming calls
**Sales Support & Order Management**
- Assist clients with quotes, pricing, and product selection.
- Process sales orders accurately using internal systems and coordinate with logistics and finance for timely delivery and billing.
- Generate packing slips, invoice and ship customer orders.
- Track order status and proactively update customers.
**Product Knowledge & Development**
- Continuously learn and stay current on product offerings, features, lead times, and supplier updates.
- Participate in training, demos, and team meetings to enhance product expertise.
- Share product knowledge with customers to support informed decisions.
**Inventory Management**
- Regularly check inventory levels and reorder stock as needed.
- Assist with semi
- annual inventory counts
- Receive product into system
**Sales Growth & Opportunity Identification**
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within the existing customer base.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Monitor customer buying patterns and suggest relevant products or services.
- Collaborate with outside sales reps to support strategic initiatives.
- Attend tradeshows and represent the company and the product we carry to existing and potential customers.
**Reporting & CRM Maintenance**
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities in the CRM system.
**Team Collaboration & Support**
- Work closely with team members, outside sales reps, and the branch manager to ensure smooth operations.
- Share insights, best practices, and customer feedback in team meetings.
- Assist and serve customers with professionalism and efficiency.
- Other responsibilities as required and/or assigned by branch manager.
**Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements**
- Grade 12 Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Customer service experience: 3 years
- Sales experience and/or education: 2 years (preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as team environment
- Flexible; open to new ideas; readily accepts change
- Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs
- Highly organized with excellent time management and priority skills
- Stong interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide clean criminal record check
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
**Schedule**
- Monday to Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
**Work Location**
- In office Winnipeg, MB with the possibility of hybrid as required
