JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate saws and other woodworking equipment as directed by the shop supervisor.
- Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety procedures.
- Work with team members to ensure that work orders are completed on time.
- Follow all company safety rules and regulations.
- Assist in the shop production activities such as loading and unloading materials from trucks and trailers.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to use band saws, notching saws, and table saws
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings to determine specifications of cuts, holes, notches, and mill work that needs to be performed
- Ability to read, interpret, convert dimensions between metric and imperial
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow safe work practices and procedures
- Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English;
- Ability to work independently;
- Ability to communicate effectively with others; multi-tasking skills; sense of urgency;
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments;
- Ability to bend, lift, push, and pull 50 pounds without assistance; walk/stand for long periods of time; climb ladders; reach above shoulder height; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed; walk/stand for long periods of time in low light conditions or heavy traffic areas;
- Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds or more than that which is required daily as part of the job description.
