We have an immediate opening for **Saw Machine Operators** at our Brampton Extrusion Plant.

**Position Overview**:
As a Saw Operator in the aluminum extrusion manufacturing industry, your primary responsibility is to set up and operate saw machines efficiently to produce high-quality aluminum products. Your role encompasses various duties aimed at ensuring the smooth operation of the machinery and the production of flawless outputs. Additionally, you must possess a diverse skill set that enables you to maintain safety standards, adhere to quality requirements, and contribute to the overall productivity of the manufacturing process.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate saw machines to produce high-quality products
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as needed
- Ability to manage saw controls
- Understanding of quality requirements and relationship between cutting speed and quality of cuts
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
- Ability to read work orders and take necessary steps to stack products
- Knowledge of different alloys and tempers; separates product in racks accordingly
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform routine maintenance on the press machine to keep it in optimal condition

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Experience operating saw machines or similar equipment in a manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of EPICS an _asset_
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Good problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues with the machine
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets
