Your main mission, should you choose to accept it, is to help our accounting department run smoothly by ensuring our financial records are accurate and up-to-date. You'll be handling the fundamental (and critical) tasks that keep our finances in check. We're looking for someone who loves it when the numbers add up.

**Core Responsibilities**

- **Accounts Payable (A/P)**: Assist with processing invoices, matching them to purchase orders, and preparing batches for payment. You're the gatekeeper before money goes out.
- **Accounts Receivable (A/R)**: Help prepare and send out customer invoices, record incoming payments, and follow up (politely) on any outstanding accounts.
- **Data Entry**: Accurately enter financial transactions into our accounting software Microsoft Dynamics Business Central. This is the backbone of everything we do, so precision is key.
- **Reconciliations**: Assist in reconciling bank statements and credit card statements, investigating, and resolving any discrepancies. Think of it as financial detective work.
- **Expense Reports**: Review and process employee expense reports, making sure they follow company policy (and that all receipts are accounted for).
- **General Support**: Perform administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and maintaining organized financial records. You'll be a crucial support pillar for the entire team.

**What You Bring (Qualifications)**

- **Required**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A genuine knack for numbers and basic understanding of accounting principles.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially **Excel**. You should be comfortable with spreadsheets (pivot tables are a huge plus).
- **Exceptional attention to detail.** Did you spot the typo in the last sentence? (There isn't one, but you probably double-checked. That's the spirit.)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Integrity and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

- **Preferred (Bonus Points)**:

- Associate's degree or coursework in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central would be a major asset
- Previous internship or 1+ year of experience in a similar role (even data entry helps).
