This position will work closely with the Human Resources team and Plant Managers in payroll processing and benefit administration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Prepare of the weekly payroll for approximately 500 employees (union and non-union)
- Correct hours on a daily bases with Plant Managers in Leadtec system
- Uploading and verifying of all employees’ hours
- Adjustments of payroll entries, retros, CNEEST, etc..
- Perform various analyzes to payroll (calculation of costs, vacation, etc.)
- Participate in Month-End reporting and year-end processing
- Create, modify and terminate employees in the payroll and Leadtec system
- Make changes to employee’s files (address, salary, vacation)
- Respond to employees’ questions regarding payroll and benefits
- Creating of employees in the group insurance platform
- Monitor and maintain sick days and vacation bank
- Participate in the organization of special events for employees
- Excellent knowledge of excel and outlook
- Knowledge of Desjardins payroll system an asset
- Excellent knowledge of Quebec laws and regulation
- Bonus if have worked in a unionized environment
- Ability to manage priorities and work under pressure and deadlines
- Bilingual
- Completion of Canadian Payroll Association an asset
- Dec or DEP in accounting

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
