Chief Financial Officer

Paramount Services Ltd. and its related businesses require an experienced financial professional to fill the role of Chief Financial Officer. The individual filling this role will be an important part of the senior management team helping form the direction of Paramount operations for the future As part of the senior management team, aside from your technical skill and experience, you need to be down-to-earth and respectful of others, able to connect with, manage, direct and motivate people you work with

**Essential Function**:
The Chief Financial Officer will direct and oversee the financial activities of Paramount Services, and create appropriate forecasts based on planned information and actions to enhance planning for future growth.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**:

- Oversees the Finance department, budget preparation, and audit functions.
- Works with other department heads to monitor each department and make recommendations.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Directs the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.
- Oversees, implements, and ensures accurate and timely general ledger preparation & analysis, invoicing, A/R collection, A/P processing, data collection & analysis.
- Oversee major expenditure plans and provide feedback and direction as appropriate.
- Compares sales and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses; makes or oversees any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets.
- The review planning process suggests improvements to current methods.
- Analyzes operations to identify areas in need of improvement or reorganization.
- Plans for and ensures appropriate training and implementation of required electronic systems corporate-wide including all Service Techs.
- Works with the President and other executives to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process.
- Studies long-range economic trends and projects their impact on future growth in sales and market share.
- Identifies opportunities for expansion into new product areas.

- Experience in implementing and/or working with a perpetual inventory system.
- Able to critically assess, evaluate and develop the skill set of team members.

**Education and Experience**:

- Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required.
- Certified Public Accountant designation preferred with at least 3 years experience in public practice.
- Minimum of seven years of progressive experience in an increasingly responsible financial management role.
