**Develop your full potential**:
Reporting to the General Manager, the Plant Manager's mission is to establish the performance standards of his or her unit and to achieve the established objectives by developing an action plan that respects the business rules and processes as well as the best manufacturing practices. You will participate in the implementation of processes, practices and tools specific to your unit aimed at optimizing operational efficiency while prioritizing health and safety. You also use your leadership skills to build a motivated and competent team and support their production efforts while nurturing a culture of continuous improvement and health and safety. In doing so, you will help achieve your unit's business objectives by positively influencing the adoption of healthy and safe behaviours, operating costs, performance, and production capacity and quality. The Montreal unit has approximately 120 employees in total.
As Plant Manager, your objective is to support your business unit in a positive and friendly atmosphere To do this, you will be responsible for:
- Develop and implement a business strategy for your unit in line with the vision of your business unit;
- Demand and create a healthy and safe work environment for all employees in your unit and promote sound health management by establishing OHS priorities and ensuring follow-up;
- Establish OHS priorities for his/her unit in line with corporate objectives and ensure follow-up;
- Maximize operational efficiency in his/her unit and ensure the optimization of resources;
- Ensure the implementation of standardized best practices in all areas of the unit's activities;
- Establish performance standards (availability, efficiency, FIT) in collaboration with the General Manager;
- Lead weekly meetings with the team to analyze KPI's, discuss and launch required action plans;
- Collaborate in the implementation of optimization projects;
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensure the sustainability of best practices in value-added production;
- Surround yourself with a competent, complementary and committed team
- Manage and mobilize its human resources in accordance with Cascades' values and business strategy;
- Maximize synergies and integrations within Cascades business units (inter-group/inter-business unit/inter-unit).

As a plant manager, you will be able to showcase your qualities and skills. We are looking for someone who has the following qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering, production management or other relevant training;
- Have 10 to 15 years of experience in management and in the manufacturing sector;
- Experience in printing, lithography (an asset);
- Ability to guide and supervise team members;
- Have the leadership and collaborative spirit to inspire and mobilize teams to achieve excellence;
- The ability to understand customer needs, issues and interests to develop solutions that enhance the customer experience;

- Demonstrate the ability to position oneself with conviction in an unpopular context and create maximum support;

- Be bilingual;
- Be agile with different technological tools and know SAP or other ERP software (an asset).
