**The Job**:

- Direct and coordinate daily operations of the Materials Manufacturing plant.
- Lead and manage a diverse team, ensuring efficient performance across all levels of staff.
- Develop and implement systems and processes to enhance productivity and uphold quality standards.
- Establish and monitor metrics and performance targets to drive effective asset utilization.
- Uphold compliance with company policies and industry regulations at all times.
- Spearhead the recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding process for new hires.
- Provide training and educational resources to staff as required.
- Maintain and oversee plant facilities and equipment, arranging repairs or replacements when necessary.
- Champion chemical safety protocols to create a secure working environment.

**What we need from you**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of supervisory/management experience in a Chemical/Manufacturing environment.
- Profound understanding of regulatory requirements for operating manufacturing plants.
- Solid grasp of business and management principles, including budgeting, strategic planning, and resource allocation.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing operations, project planning, cost control, and program management.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze root causes and address operational challenges.
- Strong competence in operating plant equipment safely and efficiently.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and exceptional organizational skills.
