Backed by a fifth-generation family-owned company, Spicers is a leading distributor of commercial print and business papers, specialty products, graphic solutions, sign & display equipment and materials, and packaging and facility supplies and equipment.

We’re based in Vaughan, Ontario, with 25 regional locations that include custom manufacturing facilities in Edmonton, Toronto and Winnipeg, as well as cash and carry locations, product showrooms and equipment demo sites.

We are currently looking for a **Data Entry Clerk on a contract basis **located in Toronto, Ontario branch reporting to the Warehouse and Distribution Manager.

**Position Summary**

The Data Entry Clerk operates data entry systems for recording and verifying a variety of data in computer readable forms and performs related clerical duties.

**Your Challenge**:

- Data entry;
- Input receiving and update picking list;
- File put-away, returns and distribution truck paperwork;
- Communicate with Inside Sales Department;
- Cross-dock paperwork to different branches;
- Update bulletin board;
- Update new MSDS sheets;
- Answer the phone in the warehouse, direct calls appropriately;
- Maintain a clean working environment;
- Provide backup to Warehouse Team Leader; and
- Other duties as assigned.

**Your Qualifications**:

- Completion of a secondary school diploma;
- Minimum 1 - 2 years’ relevant experience;
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle deadline pressure well;
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written);
- Proficient in using MS Office;
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a team;
- Excellent organization and time management skills; and
- Excellent customer service skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: From $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
