We are currently looking for a talented, creative, and dedicated Food Service Manager for our seniors' residence, Le Wellesley, located in Pointe-Claire.

**ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Any other responsibilities related to your field of expertise.
- Ensure inventory management and place orders
- Ensure that the knowledge and skills of your team are updated and maintained;
- Ensure the management of personnel, schedules and hiring
- In collaboration with the entire team, ensure and participate in maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment according to hygiene and sanitation standards;
- In collaboration with the general manager, plan the budget for his/her department and manage it optimally;
- Plan, control and manage kitchen and food service operations;
- Prepare tasty menus while respecting the expected level of quality and the allocated budget;
- Responsible for training its employees

**EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in institutional cuisine or equivelent
- Training certification (MAPAQ)
- Experience in personnel management
- At lease 3 to 5 years of experience in a large restoration's volume
- Ease in the use of computer tools
- knowledge of a Maitre D's responsibilities (an asset)
