**Job Overview**:You will play a vital role in the procurement and estimation process within our company. You will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, estimating costs, sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of resources needed for construction projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Cost Estimation**:

- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to understand the scope of work.
- Utilize industry knowledge and historical data to estimate costs for labor, materials, equipment, and other project-related expenses.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to refine cost estimates based on project specifics.

2. **Material Sourcing**:

- Identify and source construction materials, equipment and services required.
- Research and evaluate potential suppliers, considering factors such as quality, price, and delivery timelines.
- Request quotes and proposals from suppliers, ensuring accurate and detailed information is provided.

**3. Supplier Negotiations**:

- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure the best deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain.

**4. Budget Management**:

- Work closely with project managers and financial teams to develop and manage project budgets.
- Monitor and track expenses related to materials, equipment, and services, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.

**5. Vendor Coordination**:

- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to schedule deliveries and ensure materials are available on-site as needed.
- Address any issues related to material quality, shortages or delays in a proactive manner.

**6. Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of cost estimates, supplier communications, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Generate reports on estimated costs, actual expenses, and cost-saving opportunities for management review.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- A bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in construction estimating, procurement, or purchasing roles.
- Strong analytical skills to accurately assess project requirements and estimate costs.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers and internal teams.
- Proficiency in using construction estimation software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry regulations.
- Time management skills to meet deadlines and ensure timely project completion.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $35,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
