**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and materials required.
- Build comprehensive cost estimates by analyzing labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs.
- Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid for accurate estimating and project management.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure estimates align with project goals and timelines.
- Negotiate pricing with vendors and subcontractors to secure the best possible terms for the company.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations of estimates for internal review and client proposals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and construction methods to enhance estimating accuracy.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, HeavyBid).
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in pricing and cost analysis.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Solid understanding of project management principles within the construction industry.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
