**Job Title**: Commercial Service Technician Helper
**Location**: Montreal Area

This role is pivotal as the primary support for commercial/industrial customers, responsible for service and installation across a range of commercial/industrial doors, door opening systems, and dock leveling systems.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the service and install various products, including sectional doors, rolling doors, drop testing fire doors, vehicle restraints, impact doors, and loading dock equipment.
- Assist with repair and troubleshoot defective equipment.
- Maintain proper truck stock, inventory, and company vehicle.
- Accurate timekeeping; detailing job numbers, travel time, labeling equipment, and completing job assignments timely.
- Interact with customers, end-users, and general contractors courteously and professionally.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance.
- Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Promote the company’s operational visions, values, and goals.
- Participate in training or other team activities to support ongoing continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager or his/her designate.
- Flexibility with working hours and occasional travel may be required.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong working knowledge of overhead doors, with the ability to analyze, diagnose problems, and possess mechanical knowledge for necessary repairs.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in overhead door and loading dock operations is preferred
- Welding and/or electrical experience is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to handle a physical workload.
- Proficient with power tools.
- Independent work capability.
- Service-oriented individual with effective written/verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Adaptability to a changing work environment.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must pass background check
- Basic math skills.
- Neat and clean appearance.
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
- Adherence to safety standards.

**Working Conditions**:

Pay: $24.00-$25.50 per hour
