Experienced Class 5 Delivery Truck Driver

**Terminal Location: Winnipeg, MB**
**Working days: Monday to Friday**
**No Weekends**
**No Holidays**
**Shift: 6:00AM to 3:30PM**

**What you will do**:

- Drive a _**Refridgerated**_**5 ton truck**_ to perform a dedicated route of deliveries and pick-up of freights for our clients to assigned stops within _**Winnipeg (80%) and Rural (20%)**_
- Deliver and or pick-up of freights in good condition and within scheduled time _**(approximately 25+ stops/day)**_
- **
- Load and Unload freight in proper sequence with the use of a dolley and or pallet jack. Lift and carry freight from the truck (lifting up to 50 lbs of freight) **_
- Use a handheld device to scan documents and freights
- Complete any necessary paperwork accurately
- Perform all safety checks, including pre-trip and post-trip inspection
- Report on all safety hazards and accidents
- Use a cellular phone to communicate with Dispatch, Lead Hand and Manager ie. Truck breakdowns, delivery concerns, answer calls, texts etc.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Build strong client relationships
- Adhere to safety and compliance regulations
- Additional duties as required

** Hourly rate $185.00/day + Commission of $3/stop $0.01/lb. **_**(Commission potential of $25.00/day)**_

**What we Require of you**:

- Must have experience with high volume courier deliveries
- **
- Able to perform 25+ stops in a shift**
** Must have a minimum of 1 year Courier Commercial driving experience with multi-drops**_
- Experience with McKesson deliveries is preferred and an asset
- High School Diploma
- Valid Class 5 License is a must
- Possess a Clean Commercial Driver’s Abstract
- This shift will be Monday to Friday. Shift starts at 600AM. Minimum 9 hours/day
