Experience Class 5 Delivery Truck Driver

**Terminal Location: Winnipeg, MB**
**Working days: Monday to Friday**
**No Weekends**
**No Holidays**
**Overtime will be paid after 9 hours worked at 1.5 hours**
**Shift: 6:00AM to 3:00PM**

**What you will do**:

- **_Drive a 3 ton truck (Hino 195)_** to perform a dedicated route of deliveries and pick-up of freights for our clients to assigned stops within Winnipeg (North or Central) and or surrounding areas
- _**Deliver and or pick-up of freights in good condition and within scheduled time (approximately 25+ deliveries/day)**_
- **Load and Unload freight in proper sequence with the use of a dolley and or pallet jack (lifting up to 50 lbs of freight) depending on vehicle unit driving**:

- Use a handheld device to scan documents and freights
- Complete any necessary paperwork accurately
- Perform all safety checks, including pre-trip and post-trip inspection
- Report on all safety hazards and accidents
- Use a cellular phone to communicate with Dispatch, Lead Hand and Manager ie. Truck breakdowns, delivery concerns, answer calls, texts etc.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Build strong client relationships
- Adhere to safety and compliance regulations
- Additional duties as required

**What we Require of you**:

- Must have experience with high volume courier deliveries
- Able to perform 25+ deliveries in a shift
- Must have a minimum of_ **1 year Courier Commercial delivery driving experience with multi-drops in a 3 ton truck or comparable**_
- Experience with McKesson deliveries is preferred and an asset
- High School Diploma
- Valid Class 5 License is a must
- Possess a Clean Commercial Driver’s Abstract
- _**This shift will be Monday to Friday. Shift starts at 630AM. Minimum 9 hours/day**_
- **_Load and Unload (lift and carry) freight in proper sequence with the use of a dolley and or a pallet jack_**:
