**THE ROLE**:
SV Law has an exciting opportunity for a Lawyer within our busy Condominium Law Practice Group. You will be exposed to a broad range of matters, involving aspects of both a solicitor and barrister role. You will be responsible for:

- meeting and communicating with clients, including condominium boards of directors and property managers;
- conducting and reviewing legal research;
- drafting and reviewing documents, including correspondence, agreements, and condominium governing documents, such as declarations, by-laws, rules, and amendments;
- advising on and drafting enforcement / compliance correspondence;
- advising on and assisting our Condominium Litigation Group in all aspects of condominium litigation, including mediation, arbitration, matters before the Superior Court of Justice, and matters before the Condominium Authority Tribunal (an administrative tribunal);
- advising on the enforcement and collection of condominium common expenses;
- chairing condominium owner meetings; and
- liaising with other allied professionals, such as auditors and engineers.

**WHAT YOU BRING**:
We are seeking a driven and talented lawyer with 0 to 3 years’ experience in Condominium Law (or similar area such as Corporate Law, Real Estate transactions / development, Regulatory Compliance, Administrative Tribunal Litigation, among others) to join our firm at our Guelph location and who:

- is a member of the Ontario Bar in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario;
- has the ability to effectively manage a high volume of work, is self-motivated and entrepreneurial;
- has excellent research, drafting and negotiation skills, and is detail-oriented;
- is eager to take the lead on files as the opportunity arises;
- is team-oriented and collaborative;
- has excellent oral communication and public speaking skills; and
- has an enthusiastic and responsive approach to client requirements with excellent people skills.
