We are looking for a Warehouse Labourer to join our team

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, and Business Operations Manager, the Warehouse Clerk will be responsible for assisting the Warehouse Supervisor in the day to day operation of the Distribution Centre (DC) function. The Warehouse Clerk helps the overall organization of the warehouse, along with, putting away, replenishment, production, picking, and packaging. In addition, the Warehouse Clerk will facilitate a strong and professional work environment, along with contributing to a safety focused culture and clear communication process.. This position coordinates and works hand in hand with the Sales, Service, and Delivery departments.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Warehouse Labourer**
- Demonstrates and maintains a Continuous Improvement focus
- Maintains a clean and organized warehouse and workspaces
- Shipping and receiving of products
- Maintain inventory supplies and monitor inventory control
- Ensures that all stock is safely stored in correct locations in the warehouse.
- Ensures proper opening and closing of warehouse
- Coordinates with management on any shortages, or problematic areas
- Report all Health & Safety hazards
- Communicates routine equipment issues.
- Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices
- Fosters a positive working environment across all departments.
- Any other duties assigned

**Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Forklift license preferred
- Electrical and plumbing experience considered an asset
- Exhibits strong customer service skills.
- Demonstrates solid organizational abilities.
- Possesses knowledge of proper safety precautions in the service area.
- Demonstrates strong leadership skills.
- Is able to read and interpret work orders and billing.
- Pays close attention to detail.
- Possesses basic computer skills.
- Possesses physical strength and stamina to remain standing or moving for an entire shift.
- Maintains calm and patient demeanor with frustrated or confused customers.
- Works well with a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
- Material Movers: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
