**Position Purpose**
As an Assistant Program Manager with ICCS, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our impactful programs, ensuring that we continue to meet the unique needs of those we serve. **Key Responsibilities**:
**Scheduling and Coordination**:
- Manage and coordinate staff schedules, ensuring appropriate coverage for all shifts and timely handling of time-off requests.
- Oversee the scheduling of resident programming, including activities, volunteer engagement and support services, ensuring alignment with individualized care plans.
- Work closely with the Program Manager to develop and adjust schedules based on program needs and resident requirements.
- Assist in coordinating meetings and training sessions for staff, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
**Resident Support and Program Oversight**:
- Monitor and oversee resident support services to ensure residents receive care that addresses their physical, emotional, social, and behavioral needs.
- Ensure the development and maintenance of individualized care plans, including the coordination of external services such as medical appointments and therapeutic interventions.
- Collaborate with the Program Manager and external partners to enhance resident programming, ensuring it aligns with trauma-informed, resident-centered approaches.
- Conduct regular room checks and safety assessments to ensure resident well-being and adherence to house rules.
**Resident Programming**:
- Design and implement daily and weekly programming that promotes resident well-being and fosters a safe, supportive environment.
- Coordinate with external service providers to offer residents access to a wide range of supportive services, including educational, recreational, and therapeutic programming.
- Regularly evaluate resident programming to ensure it remains relevant to the residents' evolving needs and aligns with the organization’s goals.
**Staff Supervision and Development**:
- Support the Program Manager in the supervision of case workers, support staff, and other personnel involved in direct resident care.
- Assist with staff training and onboarding, focusing on resident programming and care support.
- Provide oversight and guidance on the implementation of program policies and procedures, ensuring staff compliance.
**Documentation and Compliance**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident files, including care plans, incident reports, and program attendance.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and organizational standards, conducting regular audits of resident documentation.
- Support the Program Manager in preparing and submitting reports on program outcomes and resident care.
**Resident Programming**:
- Design and implement daily and weekly programming that promotes resident well-being and fosters a safe, supportive environment.
- Coordinate with external service providers to offer residents access to a wide range of supportive services, including educational, recreational, and therapeutic programming.
**Performs other duties as required.**
**Qualifications**:
**Education and Experience**
- Diploma in Human Services, Social Work, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years in a social services environment, with experience in scheduling and resident care coordination or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care, mental health, addiction services, and residential care best practices.
**Skills and Competencies**
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, particularly in managing schedules and overseeing resident programming.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on resident-centered care.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.
- High attention to detail in documentation and compliance tasks.
