We are currently seeking **Electrical Inspectors** for a large heavy civil construction project (Site C) in north-eastern British Columbia. This role will be camp based at Site C (located near Fort St. John, BC) and reporting directly to the Resident Engineer Discipline Lead.

**How will you contribute to the team?**
- Review all projects drawings and specification and become familiar with the project requirement.
- Perform daily site visits to conduct field review of contractor on-going work as per the Field review plan to ensure compliance with the specifications and drawings.
- Report issues related to the quality of work performed by the contractor to Lead discipline Engineer.
- Inspect work completed by the contractor at specified witness and hold points as defined by the contract and associated Inspection and Test Plan.
- Witness Site acceptance tests performed by the contractor as outlined in the contract.
- Bring up technical issues found on site to the RE discipline lead and discuss possible solutions.
- Developing and maintaining up to date inspection folders of different electrical systems.
- Keeping records of all approved changes and reviewing contractor’s Marked-up drawings.

**What will you contribute?**
- Bachelor’s in electrical engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience on site as a site engineer or site quality inspector.
- Experience in testing of LV and MV electrical equipment such as switchgears, MCC, panel boards, cables, cable bus, lighting, receptacles etc.
- Experience supervising electrical contractors is highly preferable.
- Experience in maintaining proper project documentations is a must.

**Additional information**:

- A condition of employment for this job is that you maintain a Driver's License: Class 5 In Good Standing.
- Our client requires all employees to be fully vaccinated in order to work on their site.
- This role is camp based at the Site C location.
