Position: Advertising and Partnerships Coordinator
Terms of Employment: Full-time, permanent

**Job Purpose**
Our monthly Unison News and Senior’s Directory is growing and we’re looking for an experienced Account Executive to add to our team. We are looking for a sales professional with at least 2 years of experience in a business-to-business environment. We’re looking for someone who is accountable to metrics and using a CRM.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Increase the volume of advertising sales constantly by securing meetings and building strategic presentations that include advertising solutions utilizing our platforms.
- Create and deliver professional, customized presentations that speak directly to client needs and deliver results with prompt follow-up.
- Achieve quarterly and yearly quotas as set by management.
- Initiate first contact with potential new clients through cold calling, onsite visits, etc.
- Demonstrate a keen sense of recognizing opportunities to maximize potential.
- Participate positively and actively in sales meetings and internal team meetings.
- Be involved in community B2B organizations and attend various functions and conferences to continually develop your network and business opportunities.
**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
- Post-secondary education in an area such as marketing, communications, business, sales, or a combination of education and experience.
Knowledge & Experience:
- 2+ years of related sales experience
- Business-to-business sales experience.
- Experience selling print and digital advertising is an asset.
Other skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Extremely well organized and detailed.
- Excellent listening, questioning, and negotiating skills.
- Confident and positive with ability to manage the business as if it were your own.
- Creative, fun, innovative and can work as a team player.
- Outgoing, personable, focused, results oriented and ethical are key traits required to be successful in the role.
- Self-motivated.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and knowledge of CRM platforms.
Other requirements:
- A valid Alberta drivers’ license and your own vehicle.
- Successful completion of criminal and voluntary sector background check.
**Working Conditions**:
Flexible, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
