Transportation Call Centre Representative
(35 hours per week - Temporary positions)

STWDSTS is a consortium of five school Boards, Conseil scolaire du district catholique Centre-Sud, Conseil scolaire de district du Centre Sud-Ouest, Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board, Upper Grand District School Board and Wellington Catholic District School Board providing transportation services to the students residing in Wellington and Dufferin Counties.
POSITION: Transportation Call Centre Representative

**LOCATION: 66 Arrow Road, Unit B, Guelph, Ontario**

**SALARY: $19.00 /hr**

**DATES: August 18, 2025 to September 26, 2025**

Reporting to the Operations Manager of Service de transport de Wellington - Dufferin Student Transportation Services (STWDSTS) the Call Centre Representative is responsible for responding to public inquiries and assisting with call-volume that occurs during school year start-up.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responding to phone inquiries from school staff, parents and bus operators;
- Assisting other office staff as directed - clerical support;
- Guide parents through account set up in BusPlanner web portal;
- Assisting with emergency response, resolving daily transportation issues as they arise;
- Other transportation related duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- Familiarity with the school bus industry as it relates to pupil transportation would be an asset;
- Ability / experience working in a high stress environment;
- Ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor on the phone;
- Ability to utilize various software programs;
- Familiarity with transportation planning software would be an asset;
- Previous experience in an office related environment;
