**Job Description: Assembly Specialist**
**Responsibilities**:
- Work as a part of a team to assemble transit shelters, street furniture, and other related items according to assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists
- Gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials required to complete the job
- Inspect all components prior to assembly to ensure they meet quality standards
- Meet all deadlines as set out in work orders
- Prepare finished product for shipping by wrapping, palletizing, crating and loading as required
- Conserve resources needed to accomplish all tasks by using equipment and supplies respectfully and judiciously
- Document actions by completing production and quality forms
- Use a variety of equipment and hands tools while following proper operating and safety procedures
- Cross-train and assist in other areas of the warehouse when required
- Adhere to all warehouse rules and regulations regarding safety and best practices
**Specific Skills**:
- Good communication skills
- Able to perform repetitive tasks
- Physically fit, able to lift 60lbs
- Capable of using hand tools
- Works well with a team and occasionally under pressure
- Exhibits patience, kindness and organizational skills
**Forklift Operation and BC Driver’s License an asset.
