Reporting to the Manager - Ontario Structured Psychotherapy Program, the Clinical Coordinator will provide clinical leadership and ongoing clinical consultation to OSP therapists in the regional network. The Clinical Coordinator will provide consultation to therapists (e.g., Psych, SW, RP, OT, RN) who are engaged in the provision of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for individuals who are experiencing depression and/or anxiety including generalized anxiety and worry, unexpected panic attacks and agoraphobic fears, social anxiety and performance fears, specific fears, health anxiety, obsessive-compulsive concerns and posttraumatic stress.

The purpose of clinical consultation is to build upon the skills and competencies that Ontario Structured Psychotherapy (OSP) therapists will develop through the standardized OSP training program. The clinical consultation process involves reviewing cases, providing observation, modeling skills, supporting ongoing learning, and formal assessment of clinicians' skills through the Cognitive Therapy Scale-Revised (CTS-R).

**Qualifications**:
**Education/Experience**:

- A minimum of a Master's Degree is required.
- Registered member in good standing with applicable professional college in-scope to perform the Controlled Act of Psychotherapy in Ontario (e.g. College of Nurses of Ontario, Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, Ontario College of Psychologists, College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario).
- Certification with the Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies (CACBT) is an asset.
- Minimum 2 years previous experience in the delivery of evidence-based CBT treatment model for depression, anxiety and anxiety-related conditions and post traumatic stress. Ideally, with an extensive client base of various levels of complexity in a variety of conditions.
- Evidence of receiving formal CBT training and appropriate supervision.

**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities**:

- Maintains awareness of ethical guidelines and practices for the provision of effective clinical supervision/consultation.
- Awareness and understanding of the Diagnostic categories and criteria as listed in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5).
- Experience and understanding of the etiology and treatment of depression and anxiety disorders, as well as OCD and PTSD.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, e.g., Mental Health Act, Personal Health Information Protection Act, Regulated Health Professions Act, Health Care Consent Act, and professional standards to ensure compliance and consistency in provision of client care.
- Experience working with Indigenous people and other diverse ethno racial and cultural backgrounds is considered an asset.
- Experience working with 2LGBTQ+ individuals is considered an asset.
- Passionate about contributing to positive social change and commitment to anti-oppression and anti-racism.
- Ability to develop trusting professional relationships with clinical therapists and to encourage and highlight clinical strengths as well as provide a supportive learning environment for clinical growth and development.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal communication skills (oral and written) to effectively communicate with provincial training leaders, other Coordinators, partners, program managers, and directors.
- Time management and organizational skills in order to effectively address and prioritize multiple tasks and timelines in a fast-paced environment.

**CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT**
- This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
