**GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY**:
Reporting to the Clinical Manager - Ontario Structured Psychotherapy Program and to the Clinical Manager - Indigenous Health, N'doo'owe Binesi, the OSP Indigenous Engagement Lead will take a lead role in developing a communication and engagement plan with Indigenous stakeholders including Indigenous people, communities, agencies and leadership teams.

Key responsibilities of this role will include developing meaningful and collaborative relationships that will inform service planning and improvements of the OSP program. This includes working towards building an Indigenous clinical stream of service.

Responsibilities also include building upon existing relationships with organizations and OSP partners and developing a plan to achieve the OSP program vision of ensuring Indigenous people receive fair, equitable, and culturally safe and culturally appropriate services.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education/Experience**:

- Post-secondary qualifications in a related field -A minimum of a undergraduate or graduate degree in a related field with demonstrated knowledge of traditional Indigenous knowledge and practice
- Recognized and respected within Indigenous communities for providing leadership, spiritual and cultural advocacy and supportive care.
- Understanding of the systemic barriers and health inequity issues facing Indigenous people
- Ongoing involvement with Indigenous culture and traditions, comprehensive knowledge, understanding and awareness of Indigenous traditions, ceremony, teachings, and practices

**Skills/Abilities**:

- Demonstrated ability to identify systemic issues, plan improvements, measure success and continue quality improvement
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) to effectively communicate and collaborate with Indigenous people, communities agencies, leadership teams, OSP regional and provincial teams and Service Delivery Sites partners
- Skills related to preparing presentations and the ability to connect with the target audiences
- Demonstrated excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Visio, Power Point and Outlook)
- Demonstrated problem solving, organizational, time management and project management skills
- Passionate about contributing to positive social change and commitment to anti-oppression and anti-racism
- Knowledge of northern Indigenous communities and cultural differences across communities
- Experience working with Indigenous people and communities is required
- Experience working with LGBTQ2S+ individuals is an asset

**Assets**:

- Registered member in good standing with applicable professional college in Ontario is considered an asset (e.g. College of Nurses of Ontario, Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, Ontario College of Psychologists, College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario)
- Ability to speak an Indigenous language is preferred

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**:

- Will be required to travel to various work locations across Northwestern Ontario and provide own transportation
- Must undergo a successful Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC)
- May be required to work flexible hours (extended hours, evening/weekend work)
