**Job Overview**
Madrocks Bar and Grill restaurant is looking for a professional a Chef/Cook for Breakfast Menu to join our team and prepare delicious meals for our customers.

Chef/Cook responsibilities include studying recipes, setting up menus, and preparing high-quality dishes. You should be able to delegate tasks to kitchen staff to ensure meals are prepared in a timely manner. Also, you should be familiar with sanitation regulations. If you have experience with advanced cooking techniques and non-traditional ingredients, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you’ll prepare and deliver a complete menu that delights our guests.

**Duties**
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with health regulations and standards.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and kitchen operations.

**Experience**
- Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment.
- Experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing kitchen operations is an asset.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members in a busy kitchen setting.
- A background in hospitality or the food industry is highly desirable.
