**Job Summary**

**Must have**:
**2-3 years of experience and be familiar with preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner items.**

**Duties**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in flavour and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and best practices in food handling to ensure the health and safety of all patrons.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service during peak hours.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of any shortages or needed supplies.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and kitchen operations.
- Participate in regular cleaning duties, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and maintaining equipment.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices related to food handling and preparation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn new techniques within the culinary field.
