**Overall Responsibility**:
The purpose of the baker position is to assist the Team Leader with ensuring all production is produced. Provide support to ensure effective production responsibilities. Be able to communicate effectively, and work effectively in teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Follow formula/rack card instructions(size and weight).
- Lifting of ingredients bags required up to 20kg(40lbs).
- Accurately scale ingredients.
- Always work to GMP and Food Safety rules.
- Report and mixing log discrepancies to Supervisor immediately.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining clean and organized work area.
- Operate and maintain machines used in the production process
- Set up machines (calibrate, adjust, and program) to ensure proper functioning
- Monitor machine operations and perform quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Assemble components or parts using hand tools or machines

**Job Requirements**:

- Previous experience in baking is an asset
- Standing and walking around the mixing area for 8 hours.
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Work well independently or in a team environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
