CNC Machine Operator

Metal & Wood Products, a leading custom metal fabrication shop specializing in high-end architectural details, is seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and contribute to exciting projects in a fast-paced environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Operate and maintain waterjet cutting and CNC milling machines to ensure accurate and efficient material processing.
- Load and unload raw materials into CNC machines.
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings to prepare and vet programs for material processing.
- Monitor CNC machines during operation to ensure quality and troubleshoot any issues.
- Collaborate with the design team to optimize processing time and increase material yield.
- Work closely with the fabrication team to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Organize raw material inventory and post-processed materials.
**Qualifications**:
- Secondary education (high school diploma or equivalent)
- 1 to 2 years of CNC machining experience (minimum)
- Proficiency in English (both speaking and writing)
- Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Forklift experience (mandatory)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail.

Pay: $26.00-$34.00 per hour
