**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Baker / Machine Operator**

**Main Responsibilities**
- Set up and adjust machines preparatory to operation.
- Follow production schedule accurately, managing time to finish production on time.
- Gather ingredients from the warehouse in the necessary quantities according to the production schedule.
- Scale ingredients according to the recipes and maintain records regarding lot numbers.
- Record production information such as quantity, weight, size, date and type of products made.
- Monitor oven temperatures and speeds to ensure they are according to the standard and make adjustments.
- Check products for defects and compliance to company standards and adjust machines as necessary.
- Ensure quality is maintained and safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.
- Clean equipment at the end of shifts

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Good math skills.
- Able to speak, read and understand English.
- Flexible schedule and able to work weekends.
- Able to work in a dusty environment and able to perform lifting of 20 kg.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Part-time

Pay: $15.65-$19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- BURNABY, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
