**The Role**:
As a result of our robust growth, we are looking for a **Corporate Aircraft Scheduler **to join our team of professionals. This position will report to the Chief Pilot and will work out our Saint John, NB airport office.
**Responsibilities**:
- Work closely with the pilots and engineers to schedule and coordinate use of the aircraft and crews to support high-priority travel for Company executives.
- Assist requesters with trip planning to make efficient use of time and resources. Handle any trip changes and issues that may arise.
- Coordinate changes in the itinerary or passenger manifest with the crew and others, as required.
- Provide on-call scheduling support when assigned to stand-by duty during non-business hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Records and updates all available information regarding a trip request in the scheduling system.
- Ensures that passengers have current passports, visas, and other personal documents required for international travel,
- Arrange ground transportation with operations for those flying when they arrive at their destination,
- Assists in preparing reports for management use, including approval of charge backs,
- Ensures planes and guest waiting area are maintained in clean and orderly manner. Regularly stocks aircraft with required amenities.
**Duties**:
- Coordinates with the aircraft pilots to ensure plane is suitable for the intended trip.
- Coordinates with the aircraft pilots to provide crewmembers for the intended trip.
- If the request conflicts with another request, determines which trip can be supported.
- If aviation resources are not available to support a trip, works with the requester to explore alternative dates and/or times,
- When a trip is confirmed, works with the requester and/or passengers to finalize the itinerary, passenger list, and other service requests.
- Posts the aircraft and crew schedule and updates it as soon as changes become known.
- Coordinates enroute changes in the itinerary and passenger manifest and conveys this to operations. Determines how changes may affect other scheduled events and notify the appropriate managers.
- Records completed trip information in billing book.
- Minimum of one (1) year post-secondary education
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
