Are you a dynamic individual who has a passion for recruiting?

We are looking for an experienced, collaborative, self-motivated recruiter to join our HR consulting services team. You must be able to demonstrate a strong client focus, provide excellent HR service to our clients and play an important role in helping us support and guide NAIT in becoming increasingly “Essential to Alberta”.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate the entire recruitment process for all levels at NAIT, including senior level opportunities.
- Chair interview panels, currently virtually; ensuring interviews are fair, consistent and in alignment with best human resource practices. You must be able to effectively lead discussions, at times facilitating more panel discussion and/or deterring additional conversation.
- Work collaboratively with broader HRC Consulting team and with stakeholders throughout the Institute to envision, design, lead and implement projects related to process improvement, recruitment strategies, hiring initiatives and leveraging technologies.
Provide tools and resources to hiring managers and develop and deliver training to NAIT. leaders on the recruitment process and interview techniques.
- Collaborate with HR Consultants and Hiring Managers to establish recruitment priorities.
- Plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
- Develop strategies to identify the most effective means of attracting and selecting top caliber applicants with some positions being very difficult to recruit for (due to specialized training and/or experience requirements).
- Maintain a focus on equity, diversity and inclusion throughout the recruitment lifecycle
- Other responsibilities (e.g. project work) as required.

**Skills & Abilities**:

- The new team-member must be a self-starter, be accountable and be extremely organized. This position works in a very fast-paced environment, running several competitions simultaneously.
- The successful incumbent must have a strong client support focus and be an effective communicator with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Although the recruiter will work very collaboratively with other HR team members and other across all NAIT areas, they must also be able to work independently, display good initiative, be self-aware and have excellent time management skills.
- Possessing a strategic mindset and focus; experience leading change initiatives as it relates to recruitment.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential to be successful in this role.
- Senior level recruitment experience as well as training/facilitation experience is desirable.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of a Diploma in Human Resources or related field.
- At least 7 years of full recruiting experience, preferably in a post-secondary institution.
- Experience in the use of Peoplesoft and StartDate would be a definite asset.
- Project Management certification considered an asset.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

**Remuneration**: $70,658.38 - $93,607.28 biweekly, plus a comprehensive benefits package
