**Aspire for Higher provides a number of sports based programs to youth in Gr 1 - 8 in Brampton, On. We are seeking a Basketball Coach to manage our weekly sports program on Saturdays in Brampton from 8:30am - 4:30pm. The Sports Coach will be responsible for coaching and leading activities, providing quality customer service to parents, and ensuring the successful delivery of a fun, safe and memorable experience for all participants.**
- Working towards a Secondary School Diploma / College Diploma
- Previous experience working with children (3-5 years of age) is an asset
- Previous experience coaching and/or teaching sports an asset
- Employment offer is conditional upon receipt of a Criminal Record Search - Vulnerable Sector Screening
- To provide quality customer service to participants, volunteers and parents
- Work both independently and in a team environment to complete assigned tasks
- To perform other related duties as assigned
- Proven track record of working with people and the ability to build relationships
- You are positive, enthusiastic and have an endless supply of energy.
- Strengths include attention to detail, organized, problem solving and decision-making.
- Customer service oriented and able to work independently.
- Interested in meeting new people and speaking confidently in a small group setting.
- Reliable, punctual, hard work and motivated self-starter.
- Knowledge and interest of sports (basketball, soccer, etc)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Every Weekend
- Weekends as needed
- Weekends only

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brampton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (required)
