**Job Summary**

As the Health and Safety Co-op Assistant, you will utilize your excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills to assist the Senior Manager in performing physical demand analysis and assess the suitability of workstation design. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a passion for health and safety and wants to gain valuable experience in a manufacturing environment.

**Work Arrangement**:On-site, 5 days per week

**Responsibilities**
- Complete physical demands analysis
- Complete ergonomics risk assessments
- Provide support for other health and safety related projects
- Additional administrative duties as assigned
- Answer employee inquiries about health and safety policies, procedures, and programs

**Qualifications**
- Currently enrolled in a registered post-secondary co-op program in Kinesiology or Health and Safety or a similar field
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills
- Strong computer skills to navigate the Physical Demands Analysis software program.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally in all written and verbal communications A team player who is also able to work independently with minimum supervision
