**Position Overview**

The System Administrator is responsible for troubleshooting live issues, adding/modifying settings, installing content, testing, and implementing changes to Future Electronics’ Transportation Management Software (TMS) and Export Management Software (EMS - Compliance). The System Administrator is also expected to perform analysis and reporting of key performance metrics within the Logistics group as well as undertaking special projects. The System Administrator should be an analytical person who can collect, generate, cleanse and manipulate data, then propose solutions to problems.

**Responsibilities**
- Control and management of Logistics related systems and databases.
- Generate analyses, ad hoc and recurring business reports.
- Set up system values for transportation lanes and install new content.
- Test processes within the system.
- Troubleshoot ssues which may arise.
- Respond to system related nquiries from internal customers.
- Maintains Routing guides for all regions.
- Initiate recommendations to lower costs, improve performance and/or increase customer satisfaction based on best practices.
- After proper training, the System Administrator will be expected to provide afterhours support on a rotation schedule for which an on-call premium will be paid with time in lieu for actual hours worked.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Post secondary degree in IT, Engineering, Finance, Commerce, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management or equivalent work experience.
- Computer skills must include extensive knowledge of Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and basic Outlook.
- Logistics and/or Customs experience is an asset.

- Able to work either in a team environment, or independently, with little or no supervision.
- Able to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
- Must be able to speak English and French (written French would be an asset).
- Must be a quick learner, with initiative and a drive to succeed.
