Sutton West, Canada Routes Connecting Communities Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- **Client System Navigation**
- Intake new clients and assess eligibility for services
- Refer clients to appropriate services within Routes and in community through a warm transfer process
- Assist clients with basic needs and access to information
- Oversee public computers in Georgina, implement coverage schedule with volunteers and ambassadors
- **Transportation Programs support**
- Assist with Routes’ transportation program
- **Housing programs support**
- Provide support and supervision of Housing Ambassadors
- Support implementation of housing workshops and summits
- **Special projects oversight**
- Coordinate Community Income tax clinics
- Plan and implement community events along with partners
- Support outreach and community engagement

**Qualifications**:

- Degree or diploma in social services, or commensurate experience, an asset
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience managing projects and working with volunteers
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work independently
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $52,000.00 per year

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

- non profit social services: 1 year (required)
