**Position Details**:
**What You Will Do**

The Business Solutions Consultant will plan, design, develop, and launch efficient business information in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases and proposed projects. The Business consultant will collaborate with Stakeholders to perform business needs analysis for Insurance through thorough understanding of business processes and needs.
- Collect data, oversee migration of policy data into ADAPT, EDW and Qlikview and execute month end process.
- Collaborate with IT to translate business needs into potential solution documents
- Develop and document test scenarios, test matrices, and execute system/integration testing
- Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Post Acceptance Testing (PAT) after system implementation
- Manage deviation to plans and escalate to supervisor issues that have significant impact to plans.
- Participate in project activities including the definition and interpretation of business requirements and creation of documents
- Coordinate system integration testing to ensure test plan, test cases are executed.
- Participate in the post-implementation support and review.
- Collaborate with, as needed, IT project manager, Analysts or other staff internal IT department and/or external vendors to resolve problems.
- Maintain system tables / files that hold business rules, rates/factors and other key information used for processing data and for rating purposes.
- Assist in communicating to management, team leaders and trainers on any new or changed functionality of a given system
- Provide contents for training material.
Log and track communication and analysis of incident and/or problem
**Who You Are**
- Post-secondary education in Business or Information Technology
- CIP, CRM, CBAP, CAPM, PMP preferred but not required
- Minimum 2 years’ proven experience in the Insurance or Finance industries preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Business Consultant
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written communication, verbal communication, and presentation skills
- Strong technical acumen and demonstrated experience in data gathering, data analysis, data backfilling, and the creation of conceptual and logical models
- Bilingual (French and English) is an asset
