**Starting Rate**: $24.63 hourly
**Salary Range**: $24.63 - $26.93 hourly
**Classification**: CUPE Outside Class 4
**Status**: Temporary full-time

We are recruiting for Seasonal Equipment Operators for various contract lengths:
(2) Temporary Full-time - up to eight (8) months (anticipated start date of April 7th, 2025)
(3) Temporary Full-time - up to five (5) months (anticipated start date of May 19th, 2025)
(1) Temporary Part-time - up to five (5) months (anticipated start date of May 19th, 2025)

**The Opportunity**:
The Seasonal Equipment Operator assists in the operation and maintenance of environmental facilities.

**What you will do**:

- Assist with the facility operation and maintenance.
- Assist in the preparation of daily logging of facilities performance.
- Respond to customer concerns and complaints.
- Load, transport, operate, maintain, repair or arrange for repair of facilities equipment.
- Work safely and in compliance with relevant statutes and regulations and within the safe work procedures

and directives as established by the District.
- Undertake standby duties on a rotational basis as required.
- Perform related duties as assigned

**What you will need**:

- Minimum Grade 12 education with one year of experience.
- Proficient in the operation and maintenance of heavy equipment, including loading and transporting.
- Possess basic interpersonal and computer skills.
- Hold a valid Ontario Class (D) drivers licence with a (Z) endorsement
