Fowler Construction is looking for operators to safely operate snow removal equipment such as loaders, skid steers, and truck plows to perform snow removal at designated locations.

Key Duties:

  • Safely and efficiently operate snow removal equipment to perform winter maintenance operations at designated areas as per the contract.
  • Complete all tasks as directed by the Supervisor.
  • Ensure proper equipment maintenance is performed for all equipment used.
  • Record and maintain all required documentation, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Report any issues or concerns to the Supervisor.
  • Conduct yourself in a professional and mature manner.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, skid steers, truck/plow combo.
  • Knowledge of winter maintenance operations is required.
  • Strong work ethic; must be able to work with little supervision.
  • Must be able to stand, lift 50 lbs., carry, bend, reach.
  • Punctual and available to work 55 hours per week.
  • Must be able and willing to perform physical labour.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Must be willing to work on-call and respond to weather conditions in a timely manner.

Work Conditions:

  • Requires long hours of operating equipment during work hours.
  • Indoor and outdoor environments in all weather conditions.
  • Weekend, night, and on-call shifts will be required based on weather conditions.
