**Job Title**:Accounting and Payroll Administrator
**Reports to**: Finance Manager
**SUMMARY**
- Process and/or oversee Payroll on a Bi-weekly basis for 150+ full-time and hourly employees
- Assist with full-cycle month-end accounting, posting journal entries and supporting reconciling key balance sheets and income statement accounts.
- Full cycle processing of payroll in accordance with labor regulations and standard accounting principles
- Direct and/or oversee regular payroll reporting as required and assist with financial audits related to pay records and associated general ledger
- Prepare systems and protocols to direct the collection, calculation, and entering of payroll information
- Follow-up on overdue and outstanding customer accounts
- Assist in the new employee hiring process as it relates to the collection of personal information
- Posting journal entries, bank reconciliations, invoicing, and client and vendor management
- Assist in the posting of accounts to the general ledger for accounts receivable, cash receipts, accounts payable, and cash disbursements
- Prepare and/or oversee the annual T4, T2200 and other related tax documents
- Prepare records of employment (ROE)
- Assist on Ad-hoc duties as and when required
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise/Desktop
- Post-secondary school diploma in Business or Finance
- At least 3 years of Canadian payroll experience
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Experience and/or knowledge of processing Canadian payroll and legislation
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written
- Must have great attention to detail and accuracy
- Must be able to work on a team and collaborate efficiently
- The ability to identify & solve problems using logic and judgement
**Salary**: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Canadian Payroll: 3 years (required)
