**_General Responsibilities_**
- Keep Shipping Supervisor informed of day-to-day activity within the department
- Ensure proper administration of all necessary paperwork through various stages of the shipping and delivery process
- Maintain detailed logs of all inbound and outbound shipments as per company policies and procedures
- Review driver paperwork immediately upon arrival to shop to check for discrepancies
- Print out Purchase Orders/ packing slips
- Ensure all paperwork is in order, packing slips are printed and delivered to the correct department/individual
- Keep track of what was delivered and what was not
- When Supervisor is away, you will be responsible to assist the production Manager with overseeing the entire department and its duties

**Other Responsibilities**
- Dependable, reliable, professional, and punctual
- Attend various training sessions as requested by employer
- Perform all other duties as assigned

**Skills & Experience**
- Minimum 2+ years’ work experience as a shipper and receiver/ administrative tasks
- Minimum 1+ years work experience in a production environment
- Strong data entry skills
- Strong adherence to meeting quality and safety standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Ability to exhibit a professional attitude and image with a commitment to quality service
- Highly organized, with high level of accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines for critical tasks
- Strong work ethic, motivation, interpersonal and judgment skills
- Required to communicate effectively with individuals from all levels
- Experience in the construction industry is an asset
- Open minded and flexible in a dynamic work environment

**Physical Efforts & Working Conditions**:

- Standing for prolonged periods
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. alone and over 50 lbs. with assistance

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $35,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
