The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for supporting Supply Chain initiatives across Aramark’s global spend of $7 billion. This role will promote procurement standard methodologies across the Global Procurement Organization for all of Aramark’s Lines of Businesses (LOBs) globally.

**Responsibilities**:

- Contribute to the implementation of standardized procurement work processes, promoting the consistent use of procurement methodologies, and the involvement of cross-functional resources both effectively and efficiently across the globe.
- Support change management/Procurement transformation and effectively execute best practice purchasing work processes and programs.
- Identify and implement sourcing opportunities with the company’s transformational initiatives towards Total Delivered Cost opportunities and Supply Chain simplification.
- Facilitate the deployment of a multi-step strategic sourcing process, with emphasis on development of supply market and supplier segmentation, category strategies, and should-cost modeling.
- Execute strategic sourcing initiatives to deliver best possible value while meeting the company's quality, diversity, corporate social responsibility and financial objectives.
- Support Aramark’s Social Responsibility objectives by leading and fostering the company's suppliers to engage to the program.
- Execute best practice including standardization of RFX templates, standardization of bid analysis, development of project summaries, adoption of project management tools, etc.
- Support adoption of new sourcing services/tools/technologies (e.g. low cost country sourcing, pay-as-you-go auctions, etc.)
- Protect Aramark’s reputation through strict adherence to the highest ethical standards consistent with company policy.
- Ensure adherence to all Supply Chain Management (SCM) related processes.

**Qualifications**:

- Procurement or supply chain experience is helpful
- Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Must demonstrate leadership and influencing potential. personal and professional attributes:

- Ability to work within a matrix environment, build strong cross-functional and cross-regional relationships.
- Strong computer skills: Proficient at MS Excel, PowerPoint, Sourcing and procurement tools a plus

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
