**Position Summary**

We are looking for someone who will work closely with our Recreation Team to help organize, run and develop programs that contribute to the quality of life for the seniors that reside within our Strathcona County Lodge.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with the coordination and implementation of recreation programs designed to meet the physical, social, emotional, mental, spiritual well-being and needs of residents
- Liaise with residents, family members, volunteers, service providers, and other professionals as needed
- Support and facilitate special events, educational opportunities, family and resident education seminars and information sessions in conjunction with other departments

**Requirements**:

- Youth aged 15 to 30 years, per Canada Summer Job requirement
- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and be legally entitled to work as per Canada Summer Job requirements
- Education or experience related to recreation therapy
- Hardworking, energetic, and willing to work with seniors

**Location and Hours**
- Clover Bar Lodge
- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am - 4:30pm

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 11 weeks

Pay: From $18.17 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
