**Job Overview**
Prestigious shopping mall in Richmond is seeking a full-time experienced Building Manager. The Building Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of the facility, ensuring that all systems are functioning efficiently and effectively. This role involves supervising maintenance staff, coordinating repairs, and managing various building systems including HVAC, emergency generator and low voltage systems. The Building Manager will play a critical role in maintaining a safe, clean, and operational environment for all commercial tenants.

**Duties**
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance personnel to ensure timely and effective completion of tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of the building's infrastructure to identify areas needing repair or improvement.
- Oversee industrial maintenance tasks including fabrication and installation of equipment as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or services when required.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for reporting purposes.
- Provide training and support to staff on mechanical systems, HVAC operations, and low voltage systems.
- Respond to emergency calls.

**Skills**
- 8+ years of experience leading a maintenance crew in a commercial facility.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial maintenance practices.
- Solid hands on knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical systems, electronics, welding and machining is an asset.
- Able to identify and resolve building maintenance issues effectively and efficiently.
- Strong sense of responsiblity and diligence for acting on current and upcomning building needs.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and contractors.
- Language ability in Cantonese/Mandarin preferred.
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities to address maintenance issues promptly.
- Holder of driver licence class 5.

This position is ideal for individuals who are proactive, organized, and possess a strong technical background in building management and maintenance operations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
