We are currently hiring for a hybrid caretaker for our building in Richmond, BC.

This is an on-site role Monday-Friday, 8:00am-3:00pm

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Caretaking:
Coordinate and assist residents/owners with their move booking (set up elevator pads, provide elevator key, pick up payments etc.)
Coordinate and assist building tradesmen with access into common areas and service rooms as needed
Programming enterphone
Programming FOBs
Deliver or post notices
Thorough walkthrough of the building (common areas, service rooms etc), and report facility issues. In addition, ensure cleaning standards are met.

Janitorial:
FRONT LOBBY / ELEVATOR LOBBIES

Mop tile floors (dry mop if needed)
Vacuum carpeted floors
Clean front entrance door windows and window sills (interior and exterior)
Dust all baseboards and air vents
High dust ceiling and light fixtures
Clean enterphone panel
Empty recycling bin and junk mail box
Clean mailbox panels, fire extinguisher cabinets

ELEVATORS

Clean elevator doors (interior and exterior)
Clean elevator buttons
Vacuum elevator tracks
Replace burnt out light bulbs
Mop tile floors (if applicable)

CORRIDORS / HALLWAYS

Vacuum all carpets on all levels on the first clean of each week
Spot vacuum all carpets on all levels on all other days
Replace burnt out light bulbs
Burnt out ballasts will be communicated to the property manager immediately
Dusting of any baseboards will be done rotational basis every two months
All fire bells, fire extinguisher cabinets and emergency lights will be kept clean and free of dust All exit lights will be free of dust
Common doors will be washed as needed and kept clean

STAIRWELLS

All stairwells will be kept clean and tidy
Replace burnt out light bulbs
Dust all baseboards, emergency lights
Dust fire extinguisher boxes and heaters
Wipe down handrails

GARBAGE ROOM

Ensure garbage area is kept clean
Floor will be hosed down as needed
Floor swept each visit
PARKADE
Pick up litter
Change light bulbs

AMENITY ROOM / GYM / PLAYGROUND

Keep the kitchen and washroom clean and tidy
Vacuum floors and dust furniture
Wash interior windows and window sills

SERVICE ROOMS / BIKE ROOMS

Monthly inspections of the rooms
Light sweep on inspection days
Change any burnt out lights
Mechanical rooms swept and inspected

**Salary**: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
