We are proud of our work and commitment to create one of the leading workforce, products and services in the Aviation industry. **About the Role**: **Reporting** The Avionics/Electronics Technician reports directly to the Avionics Shop Manager. **Core Competencies** - Excellent communication skills, both oral and written - Positive attitude, team player - Problem-solving - Professionalism - Self-motivated, dedicated to learning **Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities** - Carry out maintenance, repair, and modification on aircraft as assigned to them and as required under supervision by a licensed technician. - Ensure all maintenance and safety precautions are observed when carrying out assigned activities. - Sign work sheets and work cards for work accomplished - completely and accurately. - Report unserviceable equipment to their assigned licensed technician and/or lead technician. - Notify assigned licensed and/or lead technician of all defects discovered during routine maintenance. - Communicate when tasks are complete so next trade can move onto the job. - Attend and complete training courses as assigned by company management. - Ensure work environment is safe and clean. - Promote company values, vision and mission. - Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** - Excellent organizational skills. - Shows integrity, ingenuity, and assertiveness in the performance of tasks. - Must have strong troubleshooting skills with good quality workmanship. - Employee is expected to work towards obtaining their "E" license. **Experience** - Currently attending a Transport Canada approved AME program **or** **Completed a Transport Canada approved AME program. - Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization. **Our recruitment commitments**: - ** We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.**: - _ Avmax Group offers a competitive compensation package including an optimal benefits plan and pension plan._ - _ Avmax will accommodate the needs of applicants with disabilities throughout all stages of selection process.
