About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to join our growing aviation team. The role involves performing and overseeing avionics activities, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and service. You will be responsible for guiding junior technicians, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and ensure proper completion of all avionics activities, both in the hangar and on the ramp.
- Act as lead on major inspections and modifications of aircraft projects, guiding junior technicians and apprentices.
- Ensure aircraft documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulations.
- Verify that all components installed on aircraft are properly certified.
- Carry out duties according to the appropriate avionics control manual and regulatory standards.
- Attend training courses as directed by management.
- Adhere to the Safety Management System Policy.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Valid Transport Canada E license is an asset.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
- Experience working on business aircraft types is an asset.
- Ability to work under pressure with strong organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Good communication skills.
- Proficient with MS Office and other computer applications.
- Flexible to work assigned shifts, including weekends and nights.
Education
- Completion (or in process) of a recognized Avionics program or equivalent.
